HARRISBURG — An $875,000 loan from PENNVEST will help improve the sewage system in Chartiers Township and expand service to more homes, according to Senator Camera Bartolotta (R-46).
The project will help provide service to approximately 50 additional homes in the area who frequently have to deal with malfunctioning on-lot septic systems and public health concerns pertaining to the improper waste disposal systems.
The sewer improvement project will consist of installing approximately 5,036 feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer lines and 4,603 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer lines.
